PAY POLICIES

Return/refund policy: Membership dues are non-refundable. Convention fees are refundable if written request is provided to the executive director 7 days prior to the start of the convention.

Delivery of Services: TAHPERD provides continuing education through multiple mediums such as newsletters, email news blasts, annual conventions, workshops, and TAHPERD Talks events. Application and payment of membership dues entitles members to services immediately upon submission. The TAHPERD year runs from September 1 to August 31. Membership submitted at any point during the TAHPRED year enables members to participate in all TAHPERD event through August 31 of the fiscal year and receive TAHPERD electronic and paper updates through the same time period.

Privacy Policy: TAHPRED does not sell or promote membership information. All personal contact or identifying information is kept confidential and used for the sole purpose of reaching members quickly and efficiently regarding THAPERD events, workshops, and updates.

Methods of Payment: TAHPERD accepts cash (US Dollars), checks, and credit cards (American Express, Discover, MasterCard, & Visa). 

Secure Checkout: TAHPERD accepts online membership and convention applications. Payments made in conjunction with online applications are submitted through PayPal. This payment delivery system enables encryption of credit card numbers and provides protection against identity theft. Funds are submitted to PayPal and then submitted to TAHPERD through a third-party transfer organization called Elavon.  The method of payment ensures TAHPERD never has access to credit card information and therefore limits credit theft risk of users.
